Rio Napo to Jungle Village, Ecuador (43 images)

People I previously knew introduced me to Quichua guide Rawje in Tena, Ecuador. I consequently by-passed the mainstream jungle tourism venues and lodges and travelled down the Rio Napo alone to the village where he was born and spent his childhood.

I met his entire family and other people in the small jungle village on their own terms. They were interested, if not receptive to my presence there.
